Regulation and Compliance in Financial Services
Baruch MFE Certificate
April 29 – May 21, 2023

In the midst of the current banking crisis, Professor Ken Abbott, former CRO for the Americas at Barclays and Baruch MFE professor and Mr. Jan Voigts, former Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York who was assigned by the Fed at Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, and AIG during the 2008-2009 financial crisis, will teach a four week certificate on Regulation and Compliance in Financial Services.

The course will cover topics that are applicable to understanding the current banking crisis and how the regulation and risk management changes that occurred after the 2008 financial crisis influenced the magnitude and direction of the current banking crisis. The course is a lot more timely than we would have liked… but very current!
