Changheng Chen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Science from the Ocean University of China, where he also minored in Public Administration. He continued his education with a Doctorate in Meteorology and Physical Oceanography from the University of Miami. He has co-authored three papers published in the Journal of Physical Oceanography. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE Program, Changheng worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo. Changheng would like to work as a quantitative researcher at an investment bank or hedge fund. In his free time, he enjoys running marathons and hiking.

Tianhao Chen holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Peking University, where he double majored in Chemistry and Economics, and was the recipient of the Guanghua Scholarship. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Tianhao worked as an analyst intern at Haitong Securities. He is currently exploring roles in quantitative research and portfolio management. In his free time, he enjoys tennis, movies, and classical music.

Yue Chen holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Management from Tsinghua University, where he was the recipient of the Fei Xiaotong Scholarship, and the Outstanding Graduation Thesis award. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE Program, Yue worked in quantitative research at China Southern Asset Management and KC Capital Management. He is currently exploring roles in quantitative trading and quantitative research. In his free time, Yue plays badminton, listens to music, and plays his classical guitar.

Ziyang (Young) Chen holds two Bachelor’s Degrees, one in Economics from Peking University, and the other in Mathematics from Beijing University of Chemical Technology. He has been the recipient of numerous merit and leadership scholarships throughout his career in higher education. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Ziyang interned as a quantitative analyst at Industrial Securities, an equity research analyst at Haitong Securities, a director’s assistant at Ping An Trust & Investment, and a data analyst at China Software Testing Center. He is most drawn to opportunities as a quant strategist or trader in an investment bank or hedge fund. Ziyang enjoys watching movies and staying fit through running and swimming.

Chapin Day holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Stanford University, and an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE Program, he worked as a co-head at Petra Capital Management, and as a portfolio manager at the Clinton Group. Chapin is interested in algorithmic trading, quantitative analysis, software development and machine learning. In his free time, he enjoys cycling and playing the guitar and piano.

Yiming (Kelvin) Dou holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the Central University of Finance and Economics, and Master’s Degree in Financial Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Yiming has been the recipient of three scholarships, as well as a college student innovation fund grant. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, he worked as a quantitative analyst at Four Elements Capital and Development Bank of Singapore, as well as a hedging analyst trainee at AXA. Yiming is interested in roles in quantitative research and quantitative modeling, and enjoys playing basketball, swimming, and playing the accordion in his free time.

Duo Han obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from City University of Hong Kong, graduating with First Class Honors. Additionally, he holds a Doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he was the recipient of Hong Kong PhD Fellowship. Duo has had over twenty top-tier research papers published in the field of automatic control and signal processing. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Duo worked as a research fellow at Nanyang Technological University. Duo is exploring roles in quantitative research and algorithmic trading. In his free time, Duo enjoys playing basketball, swimming and surfing.

Jiadai He received her Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics, where she graduated with Honors and a First Class Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Performance. She also attended Rutgers University where she partially completed the Master of Quantitative Finance Program before transferring. She placed first in the 2013 Beijing in China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Jaidai worked as a quantitative researcher focusing on equity trading at Founder Group, an equity research intern at Guodu Securities, and as a marketing intern at CME. She is currently exploring roles in quantitative research and analysis. In her free time, Jiadai enjoys yoga and hiking.

Chenghan Huang holds a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Fudan University, where he was a recipient of their Outstanding Graduates award. Chenghan boasts several awards, including Best Trader in the FX Trading Competition, the Meritorious Winner distinction at the US Mathematical Contest in Modeling & Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling, and his top placement in the National Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology Olympiads. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Chenghan has worked as a quantitative research analyst intern at Galaxy Asset Management, an equity research analyst intern at China International Capital Company, and as a foreign exchange trader intern at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. He is currently exploring roles in quantitative research and quantitative portfolio management. In his free time, Chenghan enjoys comics, playing Go and table tennis, and practicing the keyboard.

Yang Li holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and completed his graduate education in Quantitative and Computational Finance at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE Program, Yang worked as a quantitative finance analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Yang wishes to become a quantitative strategist, and in his free time he enjoys playing basketball.

Zhenxuan Li holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Finance from Tsinghua University, where he received the First Class Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Performance. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Zhenxuan worked as a quantitative researcher at DeepX-asset hedge fund and Lingjun Invest hedge fund, as well as a risk management intern at China International Capital Corporation. Zhenxuan is currently exploring roles in quantitative strategy, algorithm trading, and machine learning related trading. In his free time, Zhenxuan enjoys swimming, tennis, billiards.

Sijia Liu holds a Bachelor of Science from Tsinghua University, where she majored in Economics and Finance, minored in Applied Mathematics, and was the recipient of the First Level Freshman Scholarship. Sijia is also accomplished in the field of Mathematics, given her first place rankings in the 2012 China Girls Math Olympiad and second place ranking in Chinese Mathematical Olympiad, as well as her Honorable Mention in the 2015 Mathematical Contest in Modeling. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Sijia conducted quantitative research at XY Investments, and worked as an auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. She would like to be a quant strategist at an investment bank or a quantitative researcher at a hedge fund. In her free time, Sijia enjoys travelling.

Yuchen Liu rreceived his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Xiamen University, where he majored in Financial Engineering, and graduated with honors under the National Scholarship. He was the Outstanding Winner in the Mathematical/Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE Program, Yuchen was a quantitative researcher at Huatai Securities, a global alpha researcher at Trexquant Investment LP, and a quantitative analyst at QuantiFusion Asset Management. He is exploring roles in quantitative strategies, and quantitative research. In his free time, Yuchen enjoys playing his drum set.

Jinming Luo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, both from Peking University. He has been the recipient of three separate scholarships for his studies, and has worked as a quantitative analyst at Shenzhen I-Kuan River Fund prior to joining the Baruch MFE Program. He is exploring roles in quantitative research, algorithmic trading, and portfolio management at an investment bank or a hedge fund. In his free time, Jinming plays badminton and chess.

Likun Ouyang graduated from Renmin University of China with a Bachelor’s in Economics, majoring in Statistics, Management Science and Engineering. During his undergraduate years, Likun was the recipient of the Second-Class Scholarship for Outstanding Merits given to only ten percent of students. He has interned as a quantitative researcher at Guosen Securities, summer analyst in investment banking at China Merchants Securities, and as an intern at Ernst & Young. Likun is most drawn to opportunities in quantitative research, algorithmic and quantitative trading. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and skiing.

Jiayun Pan holds a Bachelor’s Degree and Doctorate in Physics from Nanjing University and Louisiana State University, respectively. In her undergraduate years, she placed first in the China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling. Her work in her Ph.D. research on high-Tc superconductors would later be published in the New Journal of Physics. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, she participated in a research assistantship. Jiayun is exploring roles in quantitative strategy and portfolio management. She enjoys spending her free time practicing yoga, listening to music, and staying up to date with film and fashion.

Harish Ramayyagari holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Harish worked as a platform engineer at Directi, an algorithmic research and software development intern for Infosys, and as a web solutions engineer for Google. He is currently exploring roles in quantitative research, and machine learning based algorithm trading. In his free time, Harish enjoys competitive online games such as Dota, Age of Empires, and Counterstrike.

Kenan Si holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematical Economics from Fudan University, where he was the recipient of the Second Prize Merit-based Scholarship given to the top nine percent of students. He was also the Meritorious Winner in the 2016 Mathematical Contest in Modeling, after placing in the top eight percent of participants globally. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Kenan interned as a quantitative researcher at China International Fund Management, and as an analyst at both Shanghai Futures Exchange and Quantshine Asset Management. Kenan spends his free time watching movies, playing the harmonica, traveling, and hiking.

Raveesh Soni holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from the Army Institute of Technology. He has earned the distinction of being a Base SAS Certified Programmer. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Raveesh works as a risk manager at American Express, where he develops strategies to minimize losses and obtain maximum portfolio growth. Raveesh is looking to obtain more quantitative knowledge to progress and contribute more in his job. In his free time, Raveesh likes to play squash and travel.

Haocheng Wang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics from Beijing Jiaotong University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Peking University. Haocheng has the distinction of co-authoring a paper published in the Journal of Communications in Statistics – Theory and Methods. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Haocheng worked as a quantitative analyst (intern) at CITIC Securities. He is currently exploring the positions of quantitative macro analyst and as a quantitative strategist. In his free time, he practices Taekwondo.

Haoting Wang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics, and another in Economics from Peking University, where she was the recipient of numerous scholarships, and placed first in the Tsai-Han Kiang Mathematical Modeling Competition. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, she worked as a quantitative analyst intern at CITIC Securities. Haoting is interested in quantitative research and quantitative trading. In her free time, Haoting enjoys swimming.

Zhaoqi Wang holds two Bachelor’s Degrees from Wuhan University – one in Economics, and the other in Mathematics. In the 2016 Mathematical Contest in Modeling, he was awarded the title of Outstanding Winner, and won the SIAM Award. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Zhaoqi interned in the asset management department of Kaiyuan Securities, and at the research institute of Changjiang Securities. He has a keen interest in the fields of quantitative research and quantitative strategies. In his free time, Zhaoqi enjoys travelling, listening to music, and reading.

Ziqi Wang holds a Bachelor’s Degree Engineering, Mechanics, and Economics from Peking University, where she was the recipient of a total of seven scholarships, including one from Boeing. She has also won second and third prize at Peking University’s 2016 Challenge Cup. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE Program, Ziqi conducted industry research and analysis at BHG LongHill Capital, analysis of competition and marketization for Illuminated Engineering industry at Hong Xin Security, and applied risk analytics at the Bank of East Asia. She is interested in working as a quantitative analyst at an investment bank, with the end goal of a career in asset management. Ziqi enjoys being active, and spends her free time skateboarding, running, and going to the gym.

Ziyi Wang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Economics from Peking University, where he was the recipient of the Okamatsu Scholarship. Ziyi was awarded the title of Meritorious Winner at the Interdisciplinary Contest in Modelling, and has co-authored a paper that was featured in the 2016 ACM International Symposium on Software Testing and Analysis. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Ziyi worked as a quantitative research intern at Shuimu Changliang Capital, and as a technology analyst at Goldman Sachs. Ziyi is interested in working as a quantitative researcher and quantitative trader. In his free time, Ziyi enjoys playing soccer.

Jun Wen holds a Doctorate in Mathematics from Stony Brook University as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Beijing Normal University. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE Program, Jun worked as a Quantitative trading researcher at Gold Tiger Capital and has had several research papers published. He wishes to pursue a career as a quantitative strategist at an investment bank or hedge fund. In his free time, Jun enjoys hiking and physical exercise.

Yan Yan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Physics, and Economics from Tsinghua University, where he received the Academic Excellence Scholarship. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE Program, Yan held the positions of quantitative analyst intern at JD finance, investment banking intern at CITIC Securities, and quantitative research intern at Ricequant. In addition, Yan placed first in the 2012 Chinese Physics Olympiad Competition. Yan is interested in quantitative research and quantitative trading. Wenting Yang holds two Bachelor’s Degrees from Peking University- one in Finance, and the other in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. In that time, she received the Award for Academic Excellence, and the Lvdiquan Academic Scholarship. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE Program, Wenting was a quantitative research intern at both International Data Capital and Xinginvesting Network Technology. She has also co-published paper featured in Statistics and Decision. Wenting is interested in quantitative portfolio management or quantitative research and wishes to work for an asset management firm or investment bank. In her free time, Wenting enjoys playing the violin, swimming, jogging, as well as playing tennis and squash.

Haoran Zhang holds a Doctorate in Molecular Genetics from the University of Hong Kong, at which he served as a distinguished Ph.D. fellow. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Tsinghua University, where he was the recipient of the Integrated Outstanding Scholarship. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Haoran worked as a financial marketing intern at Bank of China. He is currently exploring roles in quantitative trading and strategy at investment banks and hedge funds. Haoran is a member of Hong Kong Mensa and enjoys playing basketball, traveling, and photography.

Ruiqi Zhang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Engineering from the University of International Business and Economics, and completed one year in the Quantitative Finance Master’s program at Rutgers University before transferring. Ruiqi was awarded the title of Meritorious Winner at the Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling, and prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, worked in quantitative research and trading at CITIC Securities, in risk management as HSBC, as well as quantitative research at Guangfa Securities. Ruiqi is exploring roles in quantitative research and trading, and enjoys staying active by bicycling and playing table tennis in her free time.

Shuang Zhang graduated from Peking University with honors, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, and another in Economics. She was awarded two scholarships, including the prestigious Peking University Founder Scholarship, given only to the top one percent of students. Shuang was an Honorable Winner at the 2017 COMAP US Mathematical Contest in Modeling. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Shuang worked as a quantitative research intern at Jinhu Hedge Fund, a quantitative investment department intern at Renren Finance Inc., and fixed income intern at Shenwan Hongyuan Securities. She is interested and exploring roles within quantitative research and quantitative trading. In her free time, Shuang enjoys playing the piano and accordion, along with photography.

Sijia Zhang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematical Economics and Finance from the Central University of Finance and Economics, where she was the recipient of their Outstanding Well-Rounded Performance Scholarship, a distinction given to only the top one percent of students. Additionally, she was nominated in the Mathematical Modeling Contest while at completing her Bachelor’s. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Sijia interned in market research at CITIC Securities, as well is in Citibank’s Beijing Centralized Citigold Associate Team. She is currently interested in quantitative research and quantitative portfolio management positions. In her free time, Sijia enjoys coding, singing, and playing badminton as well as other competitive sports.

Tiangang Zhang holds a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Mathematics and Economics from Peking University, where he received the May Fourth Scholarship. He is also the Meritorious Winner of Mathematical Contest in Modeling. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Tiangang worked as an assistant at Boston Consulting Group. He is currently exploring interests in quantitative research and quantitative trading, and in his free time, Tiangang practices kendo.

Xiajun (Jim) Zhang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Renmin University of China, where he was the recipient of the Learning Scholarship. In addition, he holds two Master’s Degrees from the University of Michigan in Applied Economics, and Natural Resources and Environment. Prior to joining the MFE Program, he worked as a GIS technician at UDC, where he compiled and modified Geographic Information System data, digitized source maps, and developed workflow processes. Moreover, Xiajun has worked as a researcher and analyst for forest development and harvest activities within the Siberian forest. He is exploring roles in asset management and portfolio management. In his free time, Xiajun enjoys travelling, running, playing basketball, and watching movies.

Yuan Zhang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management from the East China University of Science and Technology, where she graduated on the Dean’s list with the highest honors and was the recipient of the First Class Comprehensive Scholarship. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE Program, Yuan worked as a quantitative researcher at Aegon-Industrial Fund Management, utilizing her strong SQL, MATLAB, and VBA skills, as well as her familiarity with the Bloomberg Terminal. She also worked as a project assistant at Haitong Securities and Wanjia Asset Management. In addition to her strong programming background, Yuan’s mathematical prowess has been exemplified by her 2nd place prize in the 2011 Chinese Mathematics Olympiad. Yuan aspires to become a quantitative analyst at an investment bank or a quantitative portfolio manager at buy-side companies. In her free time, Yuan enjoys playing the piano, going to the gym, and dining with friends.

Zhirong Zhang holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Material Chemistry, and another in Economics, both from Peking University. Zhirong was bestowed the Outstanding Graduate Award, four scholarships from his studies, and placed first in both the National Undergraduate Physics Competition and the Chinese Chemistry Olympics. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, Zhirong had internships at Jurun Capital Asset Management, Quantum Financial Service and Orient Fund, where he optimized portfolios, worked with volatility, and tested cointegration. Zhirong is exploring roles in quantitative analysis and portfolio management. In his free time, he enjoys skating, playing billiards, and going to the gym.

Junliang (Jimmy) Zhou holds two Bachelor’s degrees from Peking University, in the fields of Chemistry and Economics. Prior to joining the Baruch MFE program, he worked as a Quantitative Analyst at Fengying International. He was a Gold Medal of Chinese Chemistry Olympiad and a member of National Team Candidate. Junliang also co-authored a journal article published in Chemical Communications. He is interested in algorithmic trading and quantitative strategy. In his free time, Junliang enjoys Broadway musicals, traveling around the world, and has a keen interest in aviation.
