The Admissions Committee may require students admitted to the Baruch MFE Program to take some or all of the refresher seminars above. These advanced seminars are not for credit and are closed to people not admitted in the MFE program. They are challenging and fast paced, and cover a number of important financial applications.

The seminars are taught by experienced instructors from the MFE faculty. The C++ seminar is taught by the same instructors who teach the MTH 9815 course, which ensures that every student will be at the appropriate level of programming proficiency at the start of the semester.
