In a competition of 27 teams from 17 programs, our students worked on estimating industry sensitivities to oil prices and the effectiveness of hedges of oil price risks. Teams from UC Berkeley and University of Chicago were in a tie for 1st place with our team this year.

Congratulations to our students, Biya Wu (team co-captain), ShengQuan Zhou (team co-captain), Danielle Chen, Qing (Charles) Huang, Meng Wang, and David Zhang, as well as to Professor Andrew Lesniewski, who guided our students, and to our alumni including Scott Hounsell (Baruch MFE’15)!
